It IS a story of an abandoned and shattered slaughterhouse forgotten by Bonassama inhabitants.

This imposing building IS located near Wouri River. It was a slaughterhouse giving a great view to animals as last memory before been slaughtered.

Any project starts with a dream. The dream of replacing animals pain by the softness of colours, the dream of witnessing a creative abundance of all générations; the dream of seeing a place be alive and giving the best to Bonassama children and arts’lovers…

When a dream Can be Real, you rather wish and combine efforts to realise it.

A collective of ambitious and forward-thinking artists got the mission to transform this dilapidated place into arts’paradise on earth.

Under the blessing and the patronage of the higher traditional authority of Bonassama’s village, Tapi, Ondoua l’Africain and others volunteers organised themselves in order to resurrect this well located place able to offer the best for the art’s welfare.

The « Somewhere » or the staggered art serves its public. It is a friendly place where u can drink coffee, tea or natural juices derived from baobab flowers.

Events are organised to make the beauty of this place shining spontaneously.

People from various horizons Come there for picnics,gril and Tales nights, fishing days and meetings between Friends.

Go for the great view around Wouri River between 6 to 8 am and 2 tout 4.30pm from « Somewhere ».
